Residential Member Use Declaration Form (UDF)

The UDF Process Has Changed!

As noted in our correspondence you've received with your February 2013 invoice/ statement, Tourism Whistler has changed the timing of the Use Declaration Form (UDF) and simplified the process to streamline the administrative costs associated with the forms.

While there have been no fundamental changes to the system, you will see on your 2013 invoice/ statement (if you have not yet submitted your 2013 UDF) that your property has defaulted to a Lodging Resort Lot classification per the Whistler Resort Association (dba Tourism Whistler) bylaws and both common and commercial fees have been applied to your account for 2013.

You may apply for Residential Resort Lot classification through the online UDF process, thereby paying only the common fee portion, if your property meets the following criteria:

The property will NOT be made available for nightly/ short term rentals in the 2013 calendar year

The property will NOT be used for commercial purposes

As in the past, if your property has been used for commercial use (nightly/ short term rentals) you will pay both common and commercial assessment fees.

To apply for Residential Resort Lot status (pay common fees only) for 2013, please go to:

You will require your Member number and access code which can both be found on your invoice/ statement.  Once you've logged in, you will be asked a few simple questions.  If, based on your declaration, you meet the criteria of Residential Resort Lot, a credit for the commercial portion of your 2013 assessment fees will be automatically applied to your account.  This form will also allow you to confirm your usage for the 2013 calendar year, ensuring you were correctly assessed for 2012.  Please note, it may take up to five business days for adjustments/ payments to be reflected in your online balance.
