Destination British Columbia is Calling for Applications for their Tourism Marketing Committee. The Tourism Marketing Committee will be comprised of 18 members – three members nominated by each of the six Tourism Regions (Cariboo Chilcotin Coast, Kootenay Rockies, Northern BC, Thompson Okanagan, Vancouver Island, and Vancouver, Coast & Mountains). Vancouver, Coast & Mountains Tourism Region has posted the Destination British Columbia - Tourism Marketing Committee Call for Applications and relevant documentation on their website. The deadline for applications is 5:00 PM on Friday, May 17, 2013.
Destination BC is the sponsor of the People’s Choice category of the Responsible Tourism Awards. Nominations are open until June 14 www.responsibletravel.com/awards
