Tourism Whistler promotes June as THE time to visit for all things wellness - with Whistler's abundant events and opportunities for relaxation, fitness, rejuvenation, and nutrition. To enhance Whistler's existing wellness offerings in June, Tourism Whistler has come together with Watermark Communications to produce unique programming throughout the month to elevate the experience and events available.
From June 1 to 23, the Nourish Whistler Wellness Series will offer 30-plus unique events from Masterclasses and Speaker Series to culinary workshops with top chefs, to a selection of movement, mindfulness, arts and nature-based events to awaken and engage the body and mind.
The Nourish schedule is anchored by three new and unique Signature Events held on June 21 and 22:
- June 21, 8 - 10:30 PM: A vibrant summer solstice celebration at Soulstice: A Fresh Beginning. This curated party features DJ Foxy Moron, mesmerizing aerial performances, Drag Queens, and immersive, interactive spaces designed to engage and inspire.
- June 22, 12 - 2:30 PM: A transformative discussion with Dr. Angela De Rosa, an internationally renowned leading fugure in women's health, at Women's Longevity & Hormone Optimization with Dr DeRosa. Dr DeRosa's expertise is recognized internaltionlly and leads in the field of hormone optimization. She is frequently sought on national TV and leading podcasts.
- June 22, 7 - 9 PM: Wellness meets gastronomy at Nourish Market. A culinary journey exploring eight healthy food stations curated by talented chefs. Tickets include sampling of small plates from each station.
Nourish events feature an expert roster of local and guest professionals, including doctors, instructors, guides, chefs, mixologists, artists, and DJs. Here is a sample of more events attendees can partake in:
- Wellness Brunch Series: Every Sunday at a serene lakeside setting prepared by guest chefs.
- Pathways to Wellness: A Fusion of Eastern & Western Medicine: Hosted at Wedge Mountain Lodge & Spa, including a four-course menu.
- Grillin' & Chillin' BBQ Series: Four-course menu prepared by renowned guest chefs on Saturdays.
- Masterclasses: hands on workshops such as a Mocktail Masterclass, Beyond Pickling: Fermentation Masterclass, Paint & Picnic and more!
- Expert-guided activities such as sound baths, forest bathing, and nature walks.
- Free outdoor movement classes including dance, fitness, tai chi, and Zumba at the Audain Art Museum and the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre.

For this series to be a success and attract additional travel to Whistler during the month of June, we ask for your support in promoting the Nourish Whistler Wellness Series with your staff and guests, on your social platforms and in your newsletters.

$150 Wellness Voucher Program (June 2024)
A Whistler Wellness Voucher promotion has been created to drive overnight visitation and extend length of stay this June. Customers booking 3+ night stays on whistler.com for arrivals from June 1 - 30 are eligible to receive $150 in wellness spending to use at partner locations. Wellness-focused members are invited to participate!
There is no cost to participate, and participating locations will be reimbursed 100% for each voucher redeemed at their location.
All participating locations must agree to the following:
- Be a current member in good standing of Tourism Whistler
- Open for the duration of the initiative (June 1 - 30, 2024)
- Accept all vouchers at the full $50 value, without restrictions. Vouchers will have no cash value, so no change should be given, and customers must use the full amount.
- Locations are responsible for ensuring staff are familiar with the program requirements associated with our digital voucher platform, CouponTools. Locations must create their own POS system for processing vouchers. This 'How To' instructional video is a great reference!

2. Create a wellness experience: Do you have a fun, creative idea that will help June visitors experience Whistler's healthy and active lifestyle? Let's partner! Suggestions include:
- Prominent drop-in, public fitness events (outdoor yoga, boot camps, fun- or trail-runs)
- Fitness demonstrations on location (acrobatics, silks, yoga performers, etc)
- Nutritionally themed dinners, seminars or events (paleo, keto, vegan diets, gardening etc)
- Consumer tradeshows or other culinary event

3. Feature a Wellness Event Listing: All Health & Wellness-oriented events can be entered in our normal Events Listing Calendar, and may be promoted on the dedicated Wellness Event page on whistler.com/wellness
